A memorable evening for RC Montebello, which had the honour ☺️ of hosting a Joint Meeting with the Rotary Club of Gros Cailloux Petite Rivière and the Rotaract Club of Montebello, in the presence of PDG Dinesh as Chief Guest.
President Leena extends her warmest thanks 🙏 to PDG Dinesh, President Gila, President Neha, ADG Vishal, all Rotarians, Rotaractors, and guests present on Wednesday 25th October.
One of the key targets for each club is membership growth ⬆️ — and RC Montebello proudly welcomed 🤗 Rtn Leela Padiachy as a new member. As the Sponsor Club of Rotaract Club of Montebello, we were also delighted to witness the dedication of its members as they officially inducted two young Rotaractors, Aneesh and Kavish. This special ceremony marked a new beginning 💯 in their Rotary journey.
In line with World Polio Day (24th October), PDG Dinesh delivered an enriching presentation on the commendable work Rotary is doing through the PolioPlus campaign and beyond. It was an insightful session, especially valuable for younger members who may not fully grasp the reality of polio. PDG Dinesh triggered thoughtful reflection 🤔 through the theme “The PLUS in PolioPlus.”
The awareness session benefitted all attendees and sparked a dynamic Q&A session ❓, with engaging questions from both Rotarians and Rotaractors.
The purpose of this Joint Meeting was to connect, share, and strengthen bonds 🧑🤝🧑🤝 among clubs. The evening concluded with a warm fellowship and a delightful dinner 🍽️ — a beautiful moment of togetherness.
