🌳 Telfair Forest Planting – A Step Towards a Greener Tomorrow 🌲

On Friday, 9th February 2024, the Rotaract Club of Montebello, under the leadership of President Neha, proudly joined forces with the ENL Group as part of the Moka Smart City initiative. This ambitious project aims to plant 24,000 endemic and indigenous trees to create a walkable forest that will benefit the community for generations to come.
Our Rotaractors, accompanied by a prospective member, had the privilege of kick-starting the planting process alongside children from the neighbourhood. This collaborative effort was not just about planting trees—it was about planting hope, building connections, and contributing to a more sustainable future. 🌍
Taking place during the month dedicated to Peacebuilding and Conflict Prevention, this project offered an ideal platform for members to strengthen their bonds while engaging in an act of environmental stewardship. The joyful energy, shared laughter, and mutual purpose truly made the day a memorable one. 🤝😂
Every tree planted symbolises a long-term investment in nature—one that promotes biodiversity, enhances community spaces, and fosters well-being for future generations. 🌱
