Successful Launch of Colorectal Cancer Free Screening & Awareness Campaign by Rotary Club of Montebello 🌠💯

President Leena and the members of Rotary Club Montebello are thrilled to announce the tremendous success of the Colorectal Cancer Free Screening & Awareness Campaign, held in partnership with Royal Green Hospital on Saturday, 23rd March 2024. March is dedicated to Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, making this initiative all the more significant in our community’s health journey. 💪

This impactful event brought together residents from across the island—including La Tour Koeing, Saint Pierre, Beau Bassin, Richelieu, Pointe-aux-Sables, and Cassis—in a collective effort to prioritize early detection and prevention. The expert medical team from Royal Green Hospital, led by Dr. Dhanraz Gopal, Dr. Ashvin Chinniah, and Mrs. Nassem Ameerudden, delivered insightful talks that highlighted the critical importance of early screening in fighting colorectal cancer. Their knowledge and guidance inspired all attendees to take proactive health measures. 🙏

Participants aged 45 and above benefited from free screening tests, empowering them to take control of their health. This campaign exemplifies the incredible impact of unity and community spirit in driving positive change. Together, we have sown seeds of hope, resilience, and health awareness in our society. 🤝
