Spreading Love, Light, and Positivity Together 🌟🎄
On Saturday, 7th December, the Interact Club and Rotaract Club of Montebello came together for a heartfelt joint project with Sponsor A Child, bringing smiles 😊, hope, and joy 🎉 to the lives of 25 school students and their parents. The half-day event left a lasting impact on everyone involved, filled with love, connection, and unforgettable memories.
The day was a lively celebration of togetherness, featuring engaging activities such as board games 🎲, the exciting musical hat 🎵, and moments of shared laughter 😂 between children and parents. Our young leaders went the extra mile to add a personal touch, showcasing self-written poems ✍️ and performing soulful music 🎸🥁 on instruments like the djembe and guitar. The room was filled with a spirit of warmth 🤗, friendship 🤝, and unity that touched every heart present.
The synergy between the Interactors and Rotaractors was truly inspiring, as they worked hand in hand to create an atmosphere of positivity and joy. Here’s what some of the Interactors shared about their experiences:
🎤 Gregory: “Today was a wonderful experience where I had a great time interacting with teens just like me. We connected over games like Connect 4 and built new friendships.”
🎤 Parina: “At Sponsor A Child, I bonded with passionate young children and teens. From singing Christmas songs 🎶 to playing Lougarou, it was a day full of joy and laughter. The shared giggles and smiles were the highlight for me.”
🎤 Aditi: “The session was even more fun than I expected. Seeing their genuine smiles while we played was truly heartwarming and filled me with happiness.”
After the activities, everyone came together to share a delicious meal 🍽️, cakes 🍰, and beverages 🥤. Before parting, each child received a carefully prepared gift pack 🎁, a token of love to remind them of this beautiful day.
As the event came to an end, the gratitude 🙏 from the parents and children was overwhelming. Many parents expressed heartfelt thanks for the kindness and thoughtfulness of the young leaders, saying how deeply their families were touched by the experience. Children left with shining smiles 😊, their hearts brimming with joy and their spirits lifted.
