Kick-Start of a New Journey for Parents of Adolescents 💯 Parenting Course 👨👩👧👦
The Rotary Club of Montebello, under the leadership of President Leena, feels blessed to have the opportunity to serve the community — guiding and supporting parents as they discover new ways to accompany their children through the crucial adolescent phase 💪.
This impactful project would not have been possible without the collaboration of the ANFEN administration. A heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Bertha and her team for their support and organisation 🤝.
A very special thanks 🙏 to PADG Ya Ling, who is leading the Parenting Course that officially began on Saturday 21st October. Students of ANFEN were proud to welcome 🤗 their parents to the course — a space where parents are now being equipped to build stronger, more understanding relationships with their children.
PADG Ya Ling beautifully led the session by engaging parents in group discussions, helping them realise that they are not alone in their struggles. It was a touching moment for the Rotarians of RC Montebello to be present, to meet with the parents, and to support them throughout the activities. Emotions 😢 were present, a reminder of the real-life challenges many families face.
“Create Hope in the World” — the RI Theme for 2023–2024 — is what we aim to embody through these awareness sessions. With every action we take, we hope to bring about small yet meaningful changes that restore hope in the lives of a few families ☺️.
This is just the beginning. We look forward to accompanying these parents on their full course journey, helping them gain the tools, insights, and confidence to raise their adolescents — and ultimately make each house a Happy Home 🏠.
President Leena is deeply grateful 😇 to the entire team who continues to give their time and energy to fulfill this mission — even on a Saturday.
