Chinese New Year Celebrations 🎉🎈in Rotary Club of Montebello

Members of Rotary Club of Montebello were pleased to gather over a wonderful 👍 evening on Tuesday 31st January to celebrate the Chinese New Year of the Rabbit 🐇. We seized this opportunity to invite families 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 including spouses and children 🧒 as well as a few guests to enjoy the special moment together.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks 🙏 to the organizing committee: ADG Ya Ling, ADG Rodney, PP Dany, Rtn Clement, and Rtn Nick for making this event a memorable one. Thank you for the yummy cakes — gâteau gingeli, gâteau la cire, gâteau cravate, puits d’amour — and not to forget the ice creams 🍨 and sorbet.

Congratulations 👏 to President Raj for his leadership and great achievements during his mandate. We also extend our thanks to President Raj, Lady Kamini, and Interactor Riya for preparing the Foong Pao 🧧 for all guests present.

It was a beautiful evening where we enjoyed delicious 😋 dishes 🍽️🍜🍚 prepared by Lai Min Restaurant and experienced their warm hospitality. We also congratulated the newly engaged 💍 couple, Rtn Yanoucheka and Avrish — we truly hope the new year brings lots of love and success in their life.

To add some spice to the evening, we were honoured by the presence of Gerard Lafitte, who performed live music 🎼🎹🎤 throughout the night. Thank you, Gerard, for the entertainment.

Learning cultures, sharing such beautiful moments, and strengthening the bond among members and families make the club even more lively. We truly cherished the fellowship, fun 😂, and laughter 🤣 shared throughout the evening.
