On Thursday, 28th November 2024, the Interact Club of Montebello joined 14 other Interact Clubs from Mauritius for an unforgettable full-day seminar themed “Building Strong Foundations & Growing Future Leaders.” The event brought together an astounding 205 interactors for a day filled with learning, sharing, and camaraderie.
The day was illuminated by exceptional guest speakers who enriched the experience with their wisdom and dynamic sessions:




Their thought-provoking insights planted seeds of inspiration, empowering Interactors to embrace leadership, foster resilience, and unlock their true potential.

From exploring leadership qualities to reflecting on service and teamwork, the interactive sessions created a vibrant space for discovery and growth. Interactors eagerly participated, asking insightful questions and contributing to discussions. The energy in the room was contagious, with young leaders confidently sharing their ideas and experiences.

The collaborative breakout session was a highlight! Mixing members from all 15 clubs into teams, Interactors worked on various themes, showcasing their creativity, critical thinking, and hidden talents. The reporting moments were a celebration of ideas, teamwork, and newfound friendships.

In a moving session led by PDG Dinesh, Interactors delved into Rotary’s fight against polio. They learned about the importance of the PolioPlus Fund, reflected on their own vaccination experiences, and grasped why the mission for a polio-free world remains critical. The session fostered empathy and strengthened their commitment to making a difference.

Led by the inspiring PP Nurveen Ratty, Interactors explored the power of Public Image. Key lessons included:
• Every Interactor is a brand ambassador of their club.
• Creative ways to showcase activities.
• Overcoming challenges in promoting events.
The session ignited curiosity and sparked innovative ideas to elevate club branding.

The day concluded with a heartwarming session by Mrs. Deepa Tulsidas, who emphasized the importance of mental health. Her empowering message, “It is okay not to be okay, but it is not okay to remain not okay,” left a lasting impact on every participant, reminding them that well-being is the foundation of great leadership.

The event ended on a high note with certificates awarded to all participants, capturing their growth and dedication. Group photos immortalized the bonds formed and the shared journey, leaving everyone with hearts full of hope and renewed purpose.
