“AN OVERVIEW OF CARDIOLOGY DISEASES IN MAURITIUS” ❣️

Guest Speaker Dr. Teeluck Kumar Gunness 🫀

It was a privilege and honour to welcome 🤗 Dr. Teeluck Kumar Gunness to the Rotary Club of Montebello during our Club Meeting on Wednesday 6th December 2023.

December being the Disease Prevention & Treatment Month as per the Rotary calendar, the presentation on cardiology diseases in Mauritius was the most suitable one for the evening. Dr. Gunness enlightened the audience with his sharing, experience, examples, slides, and videos.

“Prevention is better than cure” – a very pertinent message that Dr. Gunness shared with each one present in the room. It was amazing to learn about the different techniques and especially the new technology known as Cardisiography, which makes use of Artificial Intelligence, its importance and effectiveness. 💯

President Leena and members of RC Montebello would like to express their heartfelt thanks 🙏 to Dr. Gunness for his precious time shared with the club and the wonderful question-and-answer session.

We had several guests and family members attending the meeting last night, and among them was Past President Rohil from the Rotary Club of Beau Bassin Rose Hill.

We also had the pleasure of a quick visit from DGE Marie Francoise Randriamanga and AG Dominque Edmond. Rotary is an organization that connects the world, and it was one of the best moments during the fellowship 🤝.
