A Sunday to Remember 🎆

Sunday 21st September was truly special for us, the members of the Interact Club of Montebello! 🌟 Under the leadership of our amazing President Parina, we spent a joyful afternoon with the children of Safe Haven in St Pierre — and it turned out to be one of the most touching experiences we’ve ever had. 🫶

With the full support of few parents, we wanted to bring smiles to the faces of these beautiful children — and their happiness quickly became ours too! 😍 We had so much fun doing temporary tattoos 🎨, face painting 🎭, dominoes 🎲, snakes and ladders 🪜, and even fruit-themed games 🍓 for the little ones.

But the best moment? The bubbles and whistles! 🫧🎉

As soon as the children got them, the place turned into a mini festival — laughter, cheers, and bubbles everywhere! 😄 Some of our members even joined them for a friendly football match ⚽, and their energy was just amazing!

Before leaving, we shared snacks and drinks 🍪🥤 with everyone and offered basic breakfast items 🥣 to the shelter so the children can start their mornings with something nice. ☀️

This visit made us realise how lucky and blessed 🙏 we are — to have loving families, comfort, and opportunities in life. Seeing the joy on those children’s faces reminded us how little it takes to make someone feel loved. ❤️

We are truly grateful to all those who contributed in any possible way to make this visit possible. A day full of smiles, gratitude, and love — one that will stay in our hearts forever. 🙏
