From 30th April to 3rd May 2025, President Deena and the Chair of Rotary Foundation Lea of the Rotaract Club of Montebello had the immense privilege of attending the XXIXᵉ Conférence du District and XXXᵉ Assemblée de Formation, held across stunning venues like Golf du Rova and Novotel Madagascar, District 9220.
The program was rich with powerful plenary sessions, insightful panels, meaningful exchanges, and unforgettable cultural moments.
We listened to inspiring speakers, explored pressing topics like climate resilience, AI, and the future of Rotary, and participated in strategic workshops tailored to club leaders.
One of the most heartwarming highlights was our involvement in a polio vaccination campaign for babies, organized by District Officer Polio, Haingo. Witnessing the impact of our collective action at the grassroots level reminded us why we joined this movement — to serve, to uplift, and to protect lives.
We proudly carried out an exchange of pennants with the President of Rotaract Club Antananarivo Faneva, marking the beginning of what we hope will be a long-lasting collaboration and friendship.
The “Bal Masqué” evening brought us even closer together — a reminder that service and celebration go hand in hand in Rotary!We are deeply grateful to our Sponsor Club, the Rotary Club of Montebello, for their unwavering presence, guidance, and encouragement throughout this journey. This experience also strengthened our connection not only with Rotarians from Montebello and across the district, but also with fellow Rotaractors — building bridges of friendship, collaboration, and shared purpose across borders.
So many takeaways, so many memories — and we return home energized and full of ideas to take our Rotaract journey even further.
