Rotary Club of Montebello had the pleasure to welcome 🤗 Rtn Monique Dinan as Guest Speaker 🗣️ along with Past President Pierre Dinan from Rotary Club of Port Louis Doyen, during our Club Meeting on Wednesday, 26th July 2023.

Rtn Monique Dinan is very active in the association Le Mouvement d’Aide à la Maternité (M.A.M).
M.A.M focuses on:

• Supporting young mums facing challenges during pregnancy 🤰

• Educating younger generations about early pregnancy

• Promoting the quality of life for both mother and child

• Training young mothers on how to care for their children

To support the incredible work being done by M.A.M across the island, Rotary Club of Montebello, with the support of PP Reihaz and Farouk Hossen Opticians, handed over a donation cheque. We hope this contribution helps provide care to young mums and their children.

Financial support is always welcome to continue these essential awareness campaigns. We extend our heartfelt thanks 🙏 to PP Reihaz and Farouk Hossen Opticians for their generous contribution in making this initiative possible.

Dr. Tavisha Gunness, also a guest during the evening, spoke about the importance of breastfeeding 🤱.
It was an enlightening and informative session for all present, enhancing our understanding of maternal and child health 💯.

President Leena expressed her gratitude to all Club members for their participation, presence, and sharing during the meeting.
We’re especially thankful to our guests for taking the time to be with us. It was a fruitful exchange, full of impactful conversations — and of course, warm fellowship.
