🐍Chinese New Year 2025 – Year of the Snake 🐍

On Saturday, 15th February 2025, the Rotary Club of Montebello celebrated the Chinese New Year – Year of the Snake – in a joyful and festive evening at Opium Restaurant.

The night began with an energetic 🦁 lion dance, setting the tone for an evening filled with fun 😂, laughter, and cherished moments. Rotarians and their families 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 gathered around the table to enjoy a delicious 🍜🥢 Chinese dinner, sharing jokes and creating unforgettable memories.

A special mention goes to the mouthwatering traditional cakes 🍪 — gateau gingeli and gateau la cire — lovingly prepared by our members, adding a sweet touch to the celebration. And of course, everyone was delighted to receive their Foong Pao 🧧, a symbol of good luck and prosperity.

👏 Congratulations to the Organising Committee and President Uttam for putting together such a wonderful and heartwarming evening. It was truly special to see families united 🤝, celebrating traditions 🏮, and strengthening the bonds of fellowship.
