Interact Mandate 2024-25
April 13, 2025
On Sunday 13th April, the Interact and Rotaract Clubs of Montebello teamed up for an unforgettable adventure — a nature trail at Sophie Nature Walk that turned into a day full of laughter, connection, and pure joy

From the moment we hopped on the bus early morning, the vibes were electric. The fellowship had already begun — with chatter, laughter, and that spark of excitement you feel before an epic day.

Sure, the trail was muddy… but that didn’t stop us! In fact, it added to the fun — imagine a bunch of energetic teens figuring out how to save their shoes while navigating through nature’s messy beauty.
The views were breathtaking, the air was crisp, and the towering trees seemed to whisper stories of their own.

This trail wasn’t just a fun escape — it was a powerful reminder of how precious and healing nature is. In the rush of our everyday lives, we often forget to pause and truly appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds us — beauty that’s freely given and always there to soothe our souls and recharge our minds.
This experience grounded us, reminded us of our roots, and brought a fresh sense of gratitude for the earth.

A big shoutout
to the awesome Rotaractors who led the trail — guiding us with care and ensuring every Interactor felt safe and supported.
We wrapped up the walk with a visit to the Forest Museum, where we soaked in fascinating facts about our rich natural heritage.

But the day wasn’t over yet! We made our way to the stunning Blue Bay beach, where the real fun began!
Lunch, laughter, and unforgettable memories flowed under the sun. Groups quickly formed — some dove straight into football and volleyball matches, while others chilled with ice cream in hand, soaking up the summer heat.

We were delighted to have Rotarian Véronique, our Director of New Generations, join us for a while — your presence made the day even more special!

In the afternoon, with happy hearts and tired feet, we set back home — carrying with us the magic of nature, the joy of fellowship, and memories to last a lifetime. A Sunday well spent.
